I have been interested in food since babyhood and it was my mother who began this interest, an interest that has persisted for over 70 years and I have only ever missed a daily feed because of illness, chemicals, lack of money, or will-power when fasting. It is said that Knowledge is a Fruit off a Tree and I take great delight in fruit and vegetables and in gaining more knowledge. Hence my interest in this gastronomical website from whence I have already learnt a great deal, not least about myself.
